FREE LIFE CYCLE ASSESMENT FOR RECYCLERS COMPANIES

The STOPP EU Project is launching the campaign Free LCA for Recyclers, with the goal of providing environmental reporting for plastic recyclers on their recycled plastics produced. The study will follow ISO 14040/44 and can be used for environmental reporting, e.g. carbon footprinting disclosures or Digital Product Passport.

Who can apply?

Plastic recyclers using post-consumer waste, coming from:
– Packaging
– Household
– Commercial
And producing recycled plastics for packaging, e.g.:
– rPP
– rPE
– rLDPE
– rHDPE
– rMPO
– rPET
– rPS
Which are commercially available.

Workshop with GreenDelta

To support participants, we guided users through the process of applying for this offer, explained the significant benefits, and provided them with all the details they needed to get started in a virtual workshop on October 13, 2025, at 15:00 (CET) where we covered:

  • 2. A detailed introduction to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and its outcomes
  • 3. The data required for participation and how to complete the form
  • 4. A practical activity and live Q&A session

User guide

In addition, we have prepared a step-by-step video tutorial (see below) to guide you through completing the Excel template. This resource, prepared by GreenDelta, explains the data requirements in detail and makes the application process straightforward and accessible to all participants.
