STOPP PROJECT HOLDS ITS LATEST GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING IN MADRID

The STOPP project recently held its latest General Assembly Meeting in Madrid, bringing together consortium partners to review progress and coordinate the next stages of the project. The meeting was organised by the partner responsible for communication, dissemination and exploitation, Sustainable Innovations (SIE), and gathered participants both in person and online.

Throughout the meeting, partners presented the most recent advances across the project’s key work packages, including environmental and ecosystem impacts, innovative business strategies and production models for food packaging, increased reuse of packaging, safe recycling for food contact materials, and consumer acceptance. Updates were also shared on communication, dissemination and exploitation activities, as well as on overall project management and coordination.

The agenda included collaborative working sessions and technical workshops, which enabled in-depth discussion of specific challenges and promoted knowledge exchange among partners. In addition, the meeting provided an opportunity to review input from the Advisory Board and to align upcoming activities with the strategic objectives of the STOPP project.

Overall, the General Assembly Meeting in Madrid was a fruitful session, helping the consortium to strengthen collaboration and supporting the effective planning and organisation of the work for the coming months.
