STOPP AT THE SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING SUMMIT
On 10–12 November 2025, the Sustainable Packaging Summit 2025 took place at the Jaarbeurs Event & Exhibition Centre in Utrecht, bringing together the global packaging value‐chain to accelerate transformation, innovation and sustainability in food & drink packaging.
At the event, our colleague Angelos Balatsas, Researcher at Vaasa University, had the opportunity to promote the STOPP project, distributing project brochures that explain its methodology, concept, objectives and the intended impact related to reducing plastic-packaging pollution in the food & beverage sector. The visibility offered by the Summit allowed STOPP to engage with researchers, brands, policy‐makers and innovators from across the packaging ecosystem.
